American President Lines (APL) has applied to dredge a portion of Iliuliuk Bay to accommodate larger vessels and provide additional storage capacity within its existing facility; speakers and language learners came from around the U.S. to a weeklong workshop in Anchorage with the goal of translating 2020 Census materials; and across the country, more schools are implementing Social-Emotional Learning curricula, but the Anchorage School District was an early pioneer.
