The Unalaska Raiders qualified for the state basketball tournament on Friday, after winning the regional championships.
The boys' team crushed Dillingham 68-32 to earn the top seed at state. They’ll face Hooper Bay in the first round.
Meanwhile, the girls’ team emerged as the fourth seed, earning their first state berth in years.
They held off Bristol Bay in a 45-44 victory at regions, positioning themselves to play Unalakleet in the first round at state.
The Raiders will take the court Thursday night in Anchorage. The girls play first at 5 p.m., followed by the boys at 8 p.m.
