The Unalaska City Council debated allowing all-purpose vehicles on the street at its meeting Tuesday night; an Anchorage judge will decide in the next two weeks whether more than $400 million dollars will remain in a state fund that pays for scholarships and need-based grants for Alaskans to attend college; and the COVID-19 pandemic is stressing Alaska’s foster care system, resulting in a sharp decline in available homes.
