Unalaska students were recently featured on an episode of the Iditapod, a podcast about the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race produced by Alaska Public Media and KNOM.

Middle school students crafted questions about the thousand-mile race after KUCB staff taught a lesson about mushing and radio reporting.

Here's the result of the kids' work in a segment from the show.

Full episodes of the Iditapod are available at Alaska Public Media, NPR, iTunes, Stitcher, and more.

Elementary school students from Unalaska also recorded questions for the show, and if they're featured, KUCB will be sure to share those clips as well.
