It's Election Day, and the polls are open in Unalaska; a few years after the Libertarian Party was founded in the Lower 48, voters in Fairbanks elected the first Libertarian (Rep. Dick Randolph in 1978) to any partisan office in the country; and at 101 years old, Kodiak resident Margaret Hall took voting seriously every year, up to and including the last election of her life.
