Gov. Mike Dunleavy says the state will pay Permanent Fund Dividends on July 1 – three months ahead of schedule; while all Alaska businesses can open at full capacity starting Friday morning, city staff are finalizing plans for partial reopening of Unalaska's PCR, Aquatics Center, and Public Library on June 1; and as towns and cities began to close down businesses and limit social gathering as the coronavirus swept across the globe, a group of Unalaskans met daily for over a month to sing, scream, and beat on drums.
