Two people have had an innovative idea to address the travel concerns of Unalaskans and industry workers: a flight co-op to protect travelers flying between Anchorage and Unalaska; ProPublica is partnering with KUCB to boost investigative reporting in the Aleutians; and today is the deadline to file for open positions on the School Board and City Council.
KUCB Radio offers an eclectic mix of music and entertainment programming, local events listings and public service announcements. Local programming is supplemented by a vibrant schedule of acquired shows from public radio sources.
