Out of a total of 98 applications for CARES Act funding from local businesses considered essential and non-essential, as well as 11 community nonprofits, 10 applicants were denied by the City of Unalaska; Trump has repeatedly bashed the U.S. Postal Service, and the new postmaster general confirmed Friday that he intends to cut overtime pay; and registration for the PCR's Bobby Johnson Summer Bay Classic Half Marathon is now open. 

Born in rural Northern California, Hope started as a reporter and producer at KZYX in Mendocino County. She then worked at Kichwa Hatari — the first Quechua language radio station in the U.S., based in New York — and KQED in San Francisco.
