Local internet provider OptimERA Inc. is providing Iliuliuk Family and Health Services (IFHS) with a free redundant internet connection to ensure they are always online, as well as an LTE solution that allows the clinic to go mobile; Gov. Mike Dunleavy's administration began distributing federal CARES Act funds to communities, small businesses, and nonprofits on Tuesday; and if the courts allow it, the U.S. Treasury will give Alaska Native Corporations part of the $8 billion that's in the CARES Act designed to help tribes pay for the impact of the coronavirus.
