This week, the reds in at Summer Bay and fishing is reported to be picking up, dolly fishing from local beaches has been excellent and halibut fishing has been great outside of Unalaska Bay. The ADF&G operated weir at McClees Lake has counted more than 19,000 reds to date and subsistence fishing at Wislow has been good. Tanner crab are still plentiful in some nearby bays, while Dungeness fishing may be starting up for the summer.
