The Unalaska City School District is expecting a major drop in enrollment for the upcoming school year, which means a hit to state funding; candidates in the race to replace the late Congressman Don Young are securing endorsements, and state Sen. Josh Revak has one from Young’s wife; and there are nearly 30,000 Filipinos in Alaska, many of whom will be voting in the National Election in the Philippines.
