A 500-ft Navy warship visited Unalaska this weekend as part of a Naval training exercise; the state expects to raise billions more in oil revenue and Gov. Dunleavy wants to send some of that money to Alaskans in the form of permanent fund dividends; and over the weekend, the state Senate Education Committee heard nearly four hours of public testimony on a bill that would prevent transgender girls from competing against cisgender girls in school sports.
