A fishing vessel was headed to offload crab at an Unalaska processing plant when it ran aground Saturday morning; Alaska Gov. Mike Dunleavy introduced three public safety bills designed to help crime victims and make it easier to prosecute offenders; and federal fishery managers might change how they divvy up halibut available for harvest in the Gulf of Alaska.
