    Meet the candidates during KUCB's Candidates Forum
    KUCB is hosting separate forums for City Council and the school board. During the forums, candidates will answer your questions before the election. What do YOU want to hear from candidates this year? Please share your questions and the important topics you'd like to see discussed by filling out this form or emailing news@kucb.org.

    The CITY COUNCIL forum is on Thursday, Sept. 25 at 6 p.m. You are invited to attend in person at City Hall or you can listen live on 89.7 FM and at KUCB.org.

    The SCHOOL BOARD forum is on Wednesday, Oct. 1 at noon. You can listen live on 89.7 FM and at KUCB.org.

    KUCB will rebroadcast the forums back-to-back on Friday, Oct. 3, at noon and Saturday, Oct. 4, at 4 p.m. over local radio. Forums will also be available on demand from our website.

    Voting in the Unalaska Municipal Election
    The Unalaska municipal election is on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, with polls open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Unalaska City Hall, 43 Raven Way. If you can't vote on Election Day, here are the other ways to cast your ballot:

    -Early In-Person Voting: Stop by City Hall to vote in person between September 17 and October 6, 2025, on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

    -Absentee Voting: You can also vote by mail, email, or fax. Just be sure to apply by the deadlines, by mail on October 2, 2025, and by Email or Fax on October 6, 2025
