Sprinting Home is a sports story about the Unalaska cross country team, which recently participated in the regional cross country race at Kelty Field in Unalaska, where the team had a very strong showing. With four top ten finishers on the boys’ side, and two on the girls’ side, both teams won regions and were rewarded with the chance to run at state. With the star of the team, Ross Enlow, placing first at regions, and turning in the third fastest time in the state, he was definitely in the running to be the state champion, and the team as a whole had the chance to really surprise some people at state.
Focus is a short radio module of audio interviews and stories by UCS students. This plays on KUCB 89.7 FM on Thursdays at 11 am and 4 pm and Saturdays at 5 pm.
