UCSD Student of the Week: Stephanie Torres

UCSD

The Principal’s pick this week for Student of the week (April 4-8, 2016) is Stephanie Torres for the following reasons:

Stephanie Torres has been a student in the business lab for years now. Her technology skills have grown so much during her time at Unalaska City Schools. This year she represented our school at the state Career & Tech-nical Student Organizations conference and won 1st place in Advanced Word Processing and 3rd place in Medical Office Procedures. She is also the President of our chapter of Business Professionals of America. Way to go, Stephanie! You are awesome.  ~Ms. Gurley, Business Teacher

Stephanie is an outstanding student in each of her classes and as important-ly is a great representative of Unalaska Schools. In addition to holding a job in the community, Stephanie is actively involved in Business Professionals of America and the World Language Club. She can be counted on to be a role model for all students and goes out of her way to be respectful and courteous to all she comes in contact with. She is an outstanding person and an amazing young lady who I am positive will go far in life. Great job Stephanie and thank you for all you do for UCSD. ~Mr. Wilson, Principal

Stephanie Torres is an outstanding student in my German class. She always works to the best of her potential, and all of her assignments are of high quality. She won a gold medal in the State Language Competition this year ! Stephanie is a quiet, polite, and a very pleasant person to work with. ~ Mrs. Roraback, German Teacher

Stephanie is the daughter of Michelle Basilio.
