My name is Anthony Longo. I am running for City Council seat E as a "write-in" candidate against councilman Dennis Robinson.
I have resided and worked solely in Unalaska since December 2011 and have been a local homeowner since 2012. As a husband, father of three, U.S. Navy veteran, and resident of Unalaska for 8+ years, I understand the unique qualities of living here. Over the years, I have stood by watching as the local council has made decisions that adversely affect our community, without considering the concerns of their constituents.
As Unalaskans, a dilemma we face when voting for local council is the lack of transparency amongst our candidates. I believe there should always be transparency in government.
Transparency in government is what you will get when you vote for me. My interest is in ensuring Unalaskans are fairly represented. I have no income or real-estate conflict of interest with the city and have no personal gain from council decisions other than to make the community I live in a better place, and that's what you will get from me with your vote for Anthony Longo "write-in" candidate for City Council seat E.
