Zoe Sobel
ReporterZoë Sobel reported for KUCB from 2016 until 2019. She returned to KUCB after a year living in Nepal and Malaysia as a Luce Scholar. She then returned to KUCB as a ProPublica reporter August of 2020 through August of 2021.
While working at KUCB, Zoë was recognized for a number of awards including:
- Two first place 2020 Alaska Press Club Awards for her coverage of aviation safety in the categories of investigative reporting and public safety reporting.
- First place 2019 Alaska Press Club Award in the category of cultural reporting for work on a video documentary entitled 'Tanadgusim Adan Chiilulix: A Journey Home.'
