Sophia Tetoff, a young Unangax? girl who was taken from her home in St. Paul over a hundred years ago, is finally returning; Alaska's viral detectives have recorded a sharp increase in the number of cases of the more-contagious delta variant of COVID-19; and the Qawalangin Tribe of Unalaska is once again accepting aluminum cans for free recycling. 

Hailing from Southwest Washington, Maggie moved to Unalaska in 2019. She's dabbled in independent print journalism in Oregon and completed her Master of Arts in English Studies at Western Washington University — where she also taught Rhetoric and Composition courses.
