The AMHS Reshaping Work Group meets today in the first of its two public forums, and for Unalaskans, the forum may be an important opportunity to provide input on the future of the fleet; two dead whales have washed up on Unalaska's shores in the past week: a fin whale and a juvenile humpback; and yesterday marked the highest single-day count of COVID-19 deaths in Alaska since the pandemic started.
