Liane speaks with University of New Mexico anthropology professor Keith Basso (pronounced like the fish) about his book WISDOM SITS IN PLACES (University of New Mexico Press). Basso worked with the Western Apache in Arizona and has made maps of the significant places of their culture, but those outside the tribe will never see them.
