Unalaska City School 6th grade teachers Amber wood and Finn Palmer hosted a “living wax museum" displaying students at statues outside of the 6th grade classrooms last Wednesday.
This was a special biographical project in which each student was asked to choose one historical figure that they’d like to represent in the form of a “living wax statute.” The students invited friends and family to come see the exhibit, but had to remain still until a guest pressed a hand-made button that launched the statues into a monologue about his or her life.
The statues ranged in era from Julius Caesar to Michael Jackson. Check out this clip from Flash! Unalaska.
