City officials have eased some of Unalaska's health mandates designed to prevent the spread of COVID-19 based on updated CDC and state guidance; while all Alaskans — 16 and older — are now eligible for the COVID-19 vaccines, there's limited vaccine testing data on pregnant women; and earlier this week, one local opened up a new coffee business tailoring to the Aleutian community's rough lifestyle.
