Those looking to learn or improve their Unangam Tunuu language skills are invited to an upcoming workshop in Anchorage. The Aleutian Pribilof Islands Association is hosting a free, 2-day workshop in early April aimed at helping novice and intermediate speakers not only improve their language skills, but also their teaching skills so "they can hand off language to other community members," says workshop organizers.
The workshop will teach a method developed in St. Paul during the 2015 Summer Language Intensive.
The workshop is being held at the APIA office on International Airport Road in Anchorage on April 9 and 10. More info can be found on the APIA website.
