Gov. Mike Dunleavy's most recent Covid-19 health mandate has very specific instructions for travel. 

All in-state travel is prohibited, unless "travel is to support critical infrastructure, or for critical personal needs." Critical infrastructure includes essential businesses.

Gov. Mike Dunleavy is still facing a statewide recall. The campaign to remove him from office is in the second of three phases: right now, they're trying to gather enough signatures for a special election. 

 

 

But the coronavirus pandemic put the kibosh on big public events, which in turn, made signature gathering quite difficult.

It feels a little bit like the world has stopped turning these days due to the spread of coronavirus. But Sharon Svarny-Livingston is here to tell Unalaskans, that's not true.

"The [Recall Dunleavy] effort is still going on, although we're not having large public events," said Svarny-Livingston.
