The City of Unalaska Planning Department is conducting an online survey during the month of September to identify the needs of the community and inform the next decade of city land use and community development planning.

Unalaska’s Planning Department is gathering public input Tuesday on issues including road paving and trail maintenance.

Planning Director Bil Homka said feedback will shape the city’s comprehensive plan, which lays out community development goals for the coming decades.

KUCB’s Vic Fisher spoke with Homka to learn more about the public meeting, which starts at 6 p.m. at City Hall.
