KUCB's news hiatus is almost over.
On Monday, Aug. 5, the station's newsroom will resume its regular schedule of hosting local newscasts every Monday through Thursday at noon and 5 p.m.
While news will be back to normal, the rest of 89.7 FM's programming is still being finalized as KUCB continues overhauling its studio equipment, rebuilding its show schedules, and training its staff and volunteers on the new systems.
Unalaskans can expect all of KUCB's regular lineups to return by the end of August.
