With three days until the deadline, Shari Coleman has added her name to Unalaska's municipal ballot.
The city councilor filed Monday to run for reelection at seat G.
Coleman won her seat last fall after ousting Rachelle Hatfield, who was appointed when Frank Kelty vacated the spot to become mayor in 2016.
Coleman is currently finishing the last year left on that term. If elected again, she'll earn her first full three-year term on the council.
Meanwhile, Alejandro "Bong" Tungul is the only other Unalaskan to declare candidacy for local office. First appointed to the council in 2013, he's running for reelection at seat F.
As of Tuesday morning, Deputy City Clerk Roxanna Winters said no one had filed for school board seat A, currently held by Tammy Fowler Pound.
Prospective candidates must file at City Hall by Thursday, Aug. 16. The local election is Oct. 2.
