Alaska Department of Fish and Game will be providing weekly updates through the summer months on current sport fishing regulations, local fishing reports and any upcoming changes in the regulations. This week, the reds are starting to run at Summer’s Bay, halibut fishing has been reported to be picking up and tanner crab are plentiful in several locations. The ADF&G operated weir at McClees Lake has counted more than 9,000 reds to date.
